Background
MAISON K is a fashion label that presents every season in black-and-white photography. The brief was simple: let the images lead, and send everything else to the back.
The challenge
Fashion sites tend to try too hard to be noticed — effects, decoration and too many words end up covering the work itself. How do you make browsing feel like a rhythm without stealing the show?
What we did
Image first
A full-width three-column grid carries large black-and-white photographs, and the photographs decide how the page breathes.
Quiet navigation
Four entrances only — Index, About, Collection, Contact — set small and fixed in place, never competing with the images.
One grid for every collection
The collection list and its detail pages share one grid, so the pace never changes as you browse.
Results
- The photographs lead, and the brand's tone is clear at a glance
