Dongji Development｜A rebuild that finally makes the information clear

Background

Nothing on the old site had ever been organised, so visitors could not work out what the brand stood for. On top of that, a large blog and a project login had been left unmaintained, and both made the experience worse.

The challenge

The team is small, and the state of the site was sending visitors away. We had to take things away and rebuild the experience — something that feels warm and professional, and that the team can actually keep up to date.

What we did

A strategic rebuild of the architecture

First, remove: the blog and the member login are gone, and the site now focuses on the developments and the brand. Everything about the projects sits in one place, so people can find the right one quickly.

UI/UX work

Built for older readers too: larger type, more spacing, and a navigation path you cannot miss. Good photography keeps it warm as well as professional.

Conversion and a back office that helps

The buttons sit where people make up their minds, which brings in more enquiries. A custom back office means anyone on the team can update the site.

Results

The design and the planning both went straight to the problems we had… the new site is not only warm and confident to look at, more importantly it became usable.
